COGIG AND KPMG START COLLABORATION TO CONTRIBUTE TO A MORE EQUAL TECH INDUSTRY

FEMALE TECH ENGINEER

KPMG and CoGig are starting a collaboration around the Female Tech Engineer talent program, which is run by the recruitment company CoGig with the aim of getting more women and non-binary people involved in developing the systems and products of the future in tech. The collaboration creates an opportunity for the target group to make contacts and build networks before they start a career in tech.

Female Tech Engineer is a talent program for female and non-binary engineering students at the end of their education, with the main aim of inspiring more people to work in tech. The program is a unique meeting place for engineering students and Swedish companies.

" We at KPMG are proud of our role models in tech, but we want to inspire more. Therefore, we are happy to now start a collaboration with Female Tech Engineer and actively work to contribute to increased diversity and equality in the tech area, " comments Matilda Bergström , Partner and Head of Technology Transformation at KPMG.

" I see KPMG as an excellent addition to the program and look forward to working together for gender equality in tech ," says Lena Larsson, CEO at CoGig.

KPMG joins the program with the already existing partner companies Husqvarna Group, Mycronic, Nasdaq, Northvolt, Munters and Senior Material. The companies represent a wide range but have in common that they all actively want to contribute to increasing gender equality within the tech industry.

The program started at the end of 2023 and will end with a gala in March 2024 when one of the participants will be named Female Tech Engineer of the year and receive a personal development program via Anna Landegren and the New Leadership Team .
